Bed Cradles and Bed Back Rests
Contact us if you have any concerns regarding fraying or tearing of fabric, weak joints or signs of rusting.
Commodes
Refrain from use and contact us as soon as possible if you see any signs of: Note:
Commodes should not be moved or dragged with someone sitting on them. This could cause the commode to collapse.
Cushions
Care should be taken not to puncture cushions.
Hoists and Slings
Contact us if you have any concerns regarding wheels, various adjustment actions or fraying of slings.
Walking Frames
Contact us if you have any concerns regarding worn ferrules (rubber feet), adjustment holes becoming misshapen, weakened joints or buckling of the frame.
Wheelchairs
Check tyre pressures regularly. Tyres can be inflated with a bicycle pump. The seat and back should not be torn or split, wheels should rotate freely and you should not be able to push or propel the chair with the brake on.
