Policy Statement
Sheffield Community Equipment Loan Service will, following assessment by a health care professional, provide items of home nursing equipment and equipment which will assist patients/clients to find safer ways of undertaking everyday tasks.
The service will also provide equipment to support patient discharge from hospital Sheffield Community Equipment Loan Service promotes safe practice in manual handling for both health care professionals and informal carers by the provision of appropriate equipment.
Equipment provided is for either long or short term use.
